American Chem-Dry by Mark Schmidt you won’t find yourself in a “bait-&-switch” situation. We don’t advertise ridiculously low prices and then add on extra charges once we get to your home. When we receive a phone call for an estimate, we try to give the best guess estimate based on the accuracy of the information and square footage to be cleaned received from the customer. Very seldom do we have to charge more than the phone estimate; in fact it’s usually lower. If it is higher it’s typically do to inaccurate information received during the call or the customer deciding to have more done than originally requested. Once our technicians arrive on the job they will only measure the areas to be cleaned, not wall-to-wall like most other carpet cleaners. (Why would you pay for wall-to-wall cleaning when they are only cleaning around the furniture, not under it.) The technician will then give you a final amount, before bringing in his equipment to start cleaning. No surprises at the end! We do not hard sell!!

Are the other guys really cheaper?
